Ok. This may start as an average intro, but here I go: my name's gabriela and I'm 16 years old. Ehhh ... I'm from Lima, Peru, and proud of it! ;)


painting is love

I'm in love with music, my guitar and hanging out with my friends. We could say I'm a painter, though I don't take much credit (kinda copist :S). Hum, let's say I'm kinda interested in meeting people, so if you'd like to know me, just add (no prob). I think I'm a normal sixteen-year-old girl, but I have my things and I have my issues and I am what I am, I just love myself the way I am :) (that's good).


PLACEBO is love

Right now I'm very into indie. I discovered it back a few months and I absolutely love a lot of groups, such as Death Cab, The Sounds, Arctic Monkeys, Broken Social Scene, Editors, Spoon... And the ones that scape any label are PLACEBO, Stars, Sigur Rós, Ladytron, Depeche Mode, Panic! At The Disco, and others. And that's just because I LOOOOVE THEM. Then I'm also very into 80's: Wham!, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, Eurythmics and random songs. And, of course, electronic. Motorcycle. Armin Van Buuren. The Postal Service. Those are the three I can't live without. And I love Ben Gibbard just for existing.

Mmmm... I also watch a lot of TV :P The L World, Nip/Tuck, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Related, Hot Properties, The OC, Life as We Know It, Reunion, Gilmore Girls, South Park, La Casa de los Dibujos XD
I read books like craazy, and I love novels. One of my favourites is the Harry Potter series :) and a book from an argentinian writer "Las viudas de los jueves", I absolutely loved that book. And of course The Da Vinci Code. "La Ciudad y los Perros", Vargas Llosa.
I LOVE watching movies: V for Vendetta, American Beauty, Lost and Delirious, Never Been Kissed, Ondskan, Pearl Harbour, Underworld, The Hours, Moulin Rouge, Chicago, 21 Grams, Stars Wars, Harry Potter, Disney Classics. I'm looking forward to watch Brokeback Mountain and Imagine Me & you :) I kinda like all genres.
